From what I know, Paper Minecraft ported the classic Minecraft experience into a 2D, side-scrolling browser game. How To Play

In Paper Minecraft, movement and gameplay are simplified to fit a 2D framework. Players can move using W/A/S/D or the arrow keys. Primary resources like health and hunger will always be displayed in the form of heart and meat icons respectively.
