VEX 8

Vex 8 is an addition to the Vex series, adding innovative gameplay and new challenges to the dynamic platformer. Red and green laser traps, moving blades, and even shifting platforms are only a small fraction of the obstacles found in each of the nine acts. Every adventure comes with hidden trophies that flaunt the secrets of the maps. My personal favorite feature has to be infinite mode, where focus shifts away from gameplay to endurance, requiring players to run, leap, then vault from situations without ever failing. The combination of precision and stamina makes every playthrough addicting. And with the balance of varying level design and changing difficulty, players receive a fresh mix of challenge and fun in every session.

How To Play

A stickman can be moved up and down, jumped over custom made barriers and evaded obstacles using arrow keys or the WASD buttons. Each level gets progressively harder so that players have a new goal to strive towards. Overcoming precision reliant obstacles requires meticulous timing, as evidenced by the red-green light traps, and other hazards that are in continuous motion. In infinite mode, the key focus is avoiding pitfalls while maintaining momentum to achieve continuous play. Ample exploration not only uncovers experience enhancing secret locations but also unlocks additional rewards. This encourages players to hone their skills and optimize their level completion times.
