2048 X2 MERGE BLOCKS

2048 X2 Merge Blocks integrates both the merging principles of 2048 and the fast-paced action of Tetris. In this game, blocks with numbers falls from the top of the screen continuously and players have to merge identical blocks to form larger values. The player aims to clear the board by merging the blocks in a way that avoids congestion on the playing field. As players progress through the game, the falling blocks increase in speed which requires careful planning and quick thinking to create chain merges and increase player score. Not only does the speed increase, but the challenge is strategically avoiding a boardlock – a scenario where no moves are left.

How To Play

Use arrow keys or swipe gestures to move falling blocks left or right. Position identical numbers to align them for merging into a higher number. Because blocks are accelerating and the board is filling up, the number of moves is limited which makes preserving space by grouping high-value numbers critical. Pre-empt all actions and allocate space, paying special attention to ensure efficient merges to bolster score and grow numbers. When there is no space to place new blocks, the game ends, so anticipating moves serves to extend the amount of time a player can spend in-game.
