It allows users to indulge in the timeless strategic challenge of the game while on Plaii, featuring a board of 144 intricately labeled tiles with ancient Chinese symbols and letters mounted on ancient stones. 4 players max can partake in the competition, pulling tiles from a 13 tile hand with the objective of creating matching pairs or sets. The game retains the age old rules, but incorporates digital conveniences for new players and veterans alike. The combination of foundational gameplay with current hard core multiplayer options is fun, satisfying, and quite addicting.

How To Play

The interaction of users with Mahjong Alchemy entails using mouse clicking devices or touch screens to select and match tiles which are activated by the game. The goal is to clear the board by matching sets or accumulating pairs, specifically tackling the task of matching the free tiles that are exposed and not locked by other tiles. Keeping up with the pace of the game requires unblocking as many tiles as possible and unlocking further moves by unblocking additional tiles in a timely manner. Matches are planned considering all possible future moves and limited available undo and hint functions encouraging users to carefully use these features due to the restricted nature of the features. This, along with regular attempts, aids in enhancing the skills and increasing the appreciation of the old game.
